About

I’m a graduate of the BA Acting course at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, which led to my discovery of the typewriter poetry art form.

Freshly graduated and bombarded by the industry, I needed a creative outlet that I could initiate. Waiting for permission from others to express myself was exhausting.

I grew up with mud-stained knees and a collection of fairy houses in the woodlands of New Hampshire, USA. In the summer I’d sit reading fantasy books in the grass with chickens asleep in my lap. At eighteen, I moved to London for drama school. I’ve now been a north-west London girl living in Maida Vale ever since.

In August 2025, I completed a successful run of my debut play “The Poetess” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with the Pleasance Theatre.

I’m currently writing my first book, a collection of poems from my serendipitous encounters with strangers, and the stories of the people behind them. I hope this book will remind us why poetry invites us to be present, and that humans across generations, genders, ethnicities and nationalities have so much in common.

I am represented by Emily Barrett at The Blair Partnership.
